Selections:

Leg 1: Old Harry Rocks 12/1 Skybet

The first race is a novice hurdle and an unusual race for the Scoop6. It's a contest full of unknowns and my vote goes to Old Harry Rocks who has done well in his three bumpers. Trainer Harry Fry is going well so must have  chance in this company.

Leg 2: Rock The Kasbah 8/1 Hills

Our first visit to Uttoxeter and Harry Fry has a very good chance here too as he saddles American. Unbeaten in two chases to date and bypassed the RSA at the Festival to come here. Narrow vote goes to Rock The Kasbah who bounced back to form last time out at Chepstow and is a very good horse on his day.

Leg 3: Golden Spear 11/2 Skybet

A very competitive Saturday handicap and the one to watch out for is Golden Spear trained by Tony Martin. The Irish had a great week at Cheltenham but this horse missed his chance in the County Hurdle and can take this as compensation.

Leg 4: Byron Flyer 10/1 Bet365

15 runners here in this handicap hurdle and not many look to be in great form. Trainer Ian Williams has been going well of late so his runner Byron Flyer will do for me. He was 5th last time out over hurdles at Aintree which was a fair effort and has had a spin on the AW to sharpen him up.

Leg 5: Romain De Senam 4/1 Hills

Only 7 runners go in this Handicap Chase and you cant under estimate the chances of the top weight Romain De Senam, he was touted as the bets hope for Paul Nicholls at Cheltenham but he bypassed that event to come her which looks a whole lot easier.

Leg 6: Spookydooky 12/1 Paddy Power

The final leg is the Midland National over 4m1f and this will take some getting. Low weights have done well here in the past so I quite like the chances of Spookydooky trained by Jonjo O'Neill. He was 4th in this last year and is now 10lbs lower.

:ok
