Tote Scoop6

Saturday February 4th

There was 1 winner of the Scoop6 last Saturday who won £49,517 plus plus an extra £100,000 for being the individual winner and placing their bet through a totepool channel! They will attempt to add another £13,065 to that by selecting the winner of this week’s bonus race, the 3:00 at Sandown. If they fail any winners from this week will play for an even larger bonus next time.

Last week’s £32,334 totescoop6 Bonus Fund was won by a £2 staking William Hill retail customer who selected Ziga Boy to take their total winnings to £66,343.

Selections:

Leg 1: Five In A Row 6/1 Boylesports

A four-mile handicap chase to kick things off this week, we have 13 runners and a very competitive contest. Southern raiders Just A Par, Alvarado and Dancing Shadow have to be respected but i like course winner Five In A Row for the in form pair of Brian Ellison and Henry Brooke.

Leg 2: Shantou Tiger

Another staying event at Musselburgh but this time for the hurdlers. Top weight Shantou Tiger has been very consistent lately and he will take all the beating here for Donald McCain who does well here at the track. Paul Nicholls saddles an interesting one in Bistouri D'Honore who won first time out over hurdles at Exeter. He was well beaten last time so has a bit to prove and may not be of much value.

Leg 3: Mr Mix 10/1 Coral

First visit to Sandown and we have a Grade 3 contest over hurdles. Plenty of in form horses line up here and those top concentrate on are Rolling Dylan, Mr Mix, Behind Time and Desert Sensation. Of the quartet i fancy Mr Mix who was well backed last time at Wincanton when he won and now reaches for cheek-pieces. I'm guessing he was dossing a bit so probably value for his win.

Leg 4: London Prize 12/1 Bet365

Back up north for the Scottish County Hurdle, a Listed contest and a warm favourite in Drumcliff. He has been the market leader in his last three starts but didn't win any of them so is becoming frustrating although he was a tad unlucky last time. For value a better option may be London Prize from the Ian Williams yard, he looks to have more to give and could be well handicapped.

Leg 5: Antony 9/2 Bet365

A Class 2 Chase here and the top one Otago Trail will be popular for Venetia Williams. He was a good second last time out and looks sure to be thereabouts. I like the Moore runner Antony who let his supporters down last time but prior to that had the look of an improving sort. If back on song he will go very close.

Leg 6: Another Venture

Ten runners line up for the lucky last at Sandown and any of them could win to be honest. Another Venture comes out top of the ratings so i'm happy to side with him. He's finished second in both of his starts over hurdles and has been given a mark of 120 for his handicap debut, that looks fair enough and the one to beat for me.

Perm: 16 bets

Leg 1: Five In A Row, Alvarado
Leg 2: Shantou Tiger
Leg 3: Mr Mix, Rolling Dylan
Leg 4: London Prize, Drumcliff
Leg 5: Antony
Leg 6: Another Venture, Druids Folly

:ok
