Forceful Appeal won this race last year off a 2lb lower mark before winning again over this CD off a 4lb higher mark so is handicapped to win again and has shown some promise the last twice when seen finishing well at Chelmsford. Will appreciate this return to Lingfield where he is 7 wins and 2 places from 21 starts. Luke Morris is a strong booking and although wide draw not best he is a hold up sort and there is a long straight over the mile trip before the first bend to get tucked in.

Grey Mirage is a regular over the winter in decent handicaps and he made a very promising return to action last time out when 3^rd behind Alfred Hutchinson in 2^nd who has boosted that form (the winner has let it down slightly). He ran on strongly, can go well fresh but can also be expected to strip fitter for a yard going well. Cheekpieces refitted today also a positive to note along with course form of 4 wins and 5 placed efforts from 15 starts.
