Ended a long losing when winning here last time out von only his 2nd start for trainer Paul Midgley. He has a nice draw in 11 and now he is in the right mood he could easily go in again under the same jockey Paul Mulrennan. Its an open contest with 3 other last time out winners in the line up and watch out for Flash City who will pop in one day for Ruth Carr.

Barkis 9/4 Skybet

Interesting little novice hurdle here and i think they may have the betting the wrong way round for the front two. I thought Nicky Henderson's Barkis was in the stronger race last time out and ran a good third to Washed Ashore and Barwick, they were miles clear of the rest. The winner was thought good enough to be entered at Chepstow last weekend but opted out coz of the ground. 

Favourite Theligny is well respected but has to carry the penalty after winning a very weak contest last time out, he looks poor value at around 5/4 to me.
