Jump racing returns to Hereford for the first time since 2012 so it would be rude not to tip one up in the first race back. The price wont be very generous but the Nicky Henderson trained youngster Rather Be looks a safe bet here. He made an encouraging start to his career in bumpers last season and ended up finishing 9th to Ballyandy at the Festival. He will be well schooled and should win in this company.

Roc D'Apsis EW 10/1 Betfair

Tom George has replaced stable jockey  Paddy Brennan with Adrian Heskin for this season and they get a decent prize in the bag here with Roc D'Apsis. It might be a good time to catch this horse and he looks decent value in a wide open contest. He was fancied for a Listed handicap at Aintree when last seen but made too many errors to get involved. Now returning after a break he could be well handicapped on 134.
