This one is interesting on a poor Monday fixture and the Harry Fry 7yo could well be thrown in here off a mark he gained when trained by Lucinda Russell. He carries just 10st 2lbs after losing his way over hurdles and has since been running well in points. If he can carry that form for his new yard he will be very hard to beat.

Leoncavallo 11/8 Paddy Power

Another marathon staying handicap at Pontefract in their popular series and an unusual runner for Godolphin. Leoncavallo is from the John Ferguson hurdling team so stamina wont be a problem and comes here on a very nice mark of just 71. He won last time out at Lingfield on his first run for Charlie Appleby and will be very difficult to beat here.
