12yo veteran who loves it when the mud is flying about and he will relish conditions here unlike a few of his rivals. Slipped down the handicap this season but last time out at Carlisle showed he still had it in him to be competitive at this sort of level, he just needs things to fall right and everything in his favour here and is probably the last chance he has of a victory before retiring.

Philip Hobbs has his string in good nick and this mare should be able to follow up her victory at Newton Abbot last time out. She won by 16 lengths under this jockey and that was a big step forward on what she had been showing. She was handy and led early last time which she seemed to appreciate and that tactic could have been the key to her success. I'm sure they will attempt a similar move here and looks pretty solid overall.
