Small field assembled for this Listed contest over a mile and a half. I like the way Barsanti is progressing although he has been beaten in this type of company recently. Last time out he bounced back with a handicap victory at York and this track should suit him well with the stiff finish. Most of the opposition have some sort of a chance at their best and if Second Step returned to his best he would be the main danger.

Big price here for the Tom Dascombe runner and i reckon he should be around 10/1 at most. Kicked off with a win at Goodwood and then was 10th to Lady Aurelia at Royal Ascot, no disgrace there. Was then last behind Fair Eva in Group company but didn't get on with the first time hood. Last time out he reared up when he come out of the stalls so that can be forgiven and now gets in this Nursery on a mark of just 79. Don't be surprised to see him up with the pace throughout.
