Liked the way this one battled on at Musselburgh last time out for this rider and Karl Burke's 5yo looks a big price under his penalty. Previously he had been struggling in decent handicaps over 12f and the longer trip last time seemed to suit. It's a competitive looking race for a decent prize but a lot of these will require a personal best performances to win a race of this nature so it might be worth following this fellow in his present mood.

Three out of three so far for this improving 2yo trained by Jonathan Portman. This filly has won on all types of ground and posted a personal best last time out in the Super Sprint here over C/D on a sound surface. Had won at Windsor on soft the time before that so is very versatile and proving to be very genuine. Richard Kingscote take the ride today for the first time and he rides the sprinters as good as anyone in my opinion. Dainty Dandy and Rajah look best of the others in an interesting heat.
