Verdict:

You can search for value all you like but sometimes you just have to admit there isn’t any, well not a big price anyway. I simply can’t find a danger to Thistlecrack here and believe he’s the real deal. The trainer wants to go over fences with him next year but in truth he could probably win  a two or three World Hurdles if he wanted to and join the list of terrific stayers we have had in this contest. My each way alternative has to be last years winner Cole Harden, at least he has been and done it and has ran respectably this season on conditions he hates, he should reach the frame. If the Nicholls horse Aux Ptit Soins lines up he could be the sort the money comes for and would give the race another interesting angle.
