BOP have numerous useful players who will be looking to stick it up the Lions today........and dont forget its not a full strength Lions side.........even a 2nd strength lions side would struggle against a top provincial NZ side.....and added to the fact its a 1st outing and players will be looking to impress yes, but avoid injury at all costs.........a win will do.......but no land slide...... (18.5+ points would be regarded as a landslide........) im backing BOP +18.5 @ 1/1 ...........EASY MONEY

Re: Lions v BOP Welcome aboard Bazza. Personally don't consider BOP a "top" NZ provincial side. Certainly overacheived last year but still no players who I would consider even close to the All Black squad and don't even have the advantage of established combinations and games under their belt that NZ teams used to have when playing touring teams. I think BOP will come up all hyped up but the Lions combinations will start to gel and class difference will show through.
