Cartographic was a well backed winner last time out on first run for the inform Evans yard and could easily overcome the penalty if in the same form but market has him about right.

Zarliman has to be of interest having had just 2 starts with this yard and built on stable debut last week at Lingfield when finishing well, runs off the same mark again today and is 2lb ahead of the handicapper. Remains a maiden and looks well worth a try over further given the way he stayed on and finished that race last week over 2f short.

My selection has won a couple of mile races recently at Kempton by striking for home early then hanging on.....he might be better suited by 7F if his move is timed correctly

This also represents a drop in class as his last two runs and last win were class 5. The apprentice has won on him before.

Heirarch won last time but is an infrequent winner these days so you wouldn't really fancy him to follow up

Mercury has been running well in real bottom of the barrel handicaps. He's a front runner who might just set it up for my selection to sit behind and strike for home round the final bend
