Decent looking handicap for the grade, Humour has been in good form at Chelmsford recently career best required now though.

The Big Lad has to be of interesting from the inform Richard Hughes yard, didnt look entirely straightforward on raceocurse debut at Lingfield however that could be put down to greeness looked a little awkward and keen at times. However when it came down to the finish he moved through to the front nicely and won a little cosily. That has the look of a typical AW maiden fairly weak but his opening mark reflects that with a lenient looking 68. Draw has not been kind but is likely to be held up again but clearly unexposed and open to bags of improvement for an inform yard.

not convinced that the favourite here, Relight The Fire, has the required stamina for this trip on soft ground. He got 2 miles OK on good ground but didn't appear to get home on soft ground. An extra couple of furlongs doesn't look ideal

My selection does look like a stayer having stayed on into 2nd over a slightly shorter trip on racecourse debut last time. The Post noted that she would come on for the run and the trainer does well with his bumper horses. Gets the 7lb mares allowance.
