In the dark what with most of the field making their debut so a small chance is taken with trainer P Quinn's only runner, this 3yr old colt could be anything with jockey Trevor Whelan getting the leg up, not a race for too much faith more of a little hope.

Not a bad staying event with a couple of useful staying handicappers in the field.

Brockwell ran a fair race on latest start back in June not seen since, also hasnt won for some time or over a trip anywhere near like this, seems capable over this trip, does hail from a yard going well but not won for sometime. Remains high enough in the weights at present.

Thimaar was a previous very good handicapper but now not seen for well over a year so best watched despite being potentially well handicapped.

Moshe ran up to expected level in a claimer latest start and now makes debut for new yard also steps up dramatically in trip today.

Cotton Club won over this trip at Chelmsford last time out, up 5lb for that effort and this clearly demands more. Has had chances off similar mark as this before and struggled.

Rebel Collins is an interesting runner from the AW guru Evans, has run in bumpers over this trip with a couple of more than respectable efforts. Has then made 3 modest runs in maidens to get a flat mark which potentially could be on the lenient side given they were potentially over inadequate trips. Steps back up to 2 miles today.

Brandon Castle is probably the one they all have to beat a consistent sort over 1m4f-1m6f, up a further 2lb for latest 2^nd on turf, has previously ran well on AW and should be suited to this step up in trip.
