Anyone needing to download the Sporting Odds Boss Software may do so here - http://www.sportingoddsgames.com/c/paradise/boss-download.html The Tournament This MTT is run on Sporting Odds (Boss). It costs $1+10c to enter and Sporting Odds are giving $500 to Punters Lounge to distribute to the winners of the league and 10 places in their $2500 invite only Freeroll limited to a maximum of 160 players at the end of the month. There will be 4 legs in April with a game played every Wednesday. Scoring Scoring is based on finishing position. You don't need to worry how it is calculated, but if you're interested the formula, points are calculated with the usual Punters Lounge formula . Your best 3 points totals over the months games are totaled for your final score - the winner is the player with the highest points total. The wooden spoon is "won" by the player with the lowest points total who has also played a minimum of 3 games. PrizeMoney The prize money, as offered by Sporting Odds will be distributed as following, based on finishing league positions, after Leg 4: 1st $250 + Invitation to $2500 Freeroll limited to max of 160 players 2nd $100 + Invitation to $2500 Freeroll limited to max of 160 players 3rd $50 + Invitation to $2500 Freeroll limited to max of 160 players 4th $30 + Invitation to $2500 Freeroll limited to max of 160 players 5th $20 + Invitation to $2500 Freeroll limited to max of 160 players 6th $15 + Invitation to $2500 Freeroll limited to max of 160 players 7th $12 8th $10 9th $8 10th $5 The best PL player on each evening will also win a seat to the freeroll. Each player may only win one seat through this months tournament. Should the winner have previously won a seat, then the seat will be awarded to the next highest PL finisher who has not already won a seat. The leaderboard seats will be awarded to the top finishers who have not already won a seat through this months competition. In addition, the winner of the Virtual Trophy and Virtual Wooden Spoon will have their avatars changed as appropriate for the month following the tournament. How do I enter? You may join at any point through the month, though obviously are slightly disadvantaged if you have missed some games (though still have every chance with only best 3 scores counting). Just turn up and make sure I know your username. You must also vote in the daily thread by the start of the tournament. Legs Wednesday 4th April 8pm GMT Wednesday 11th April 8pm GMT Wednesday 18th April 8pm GMT Wednesday 25th April 8pm GMT Password There is no password, the game will actually be played this month as a public game - the "$ challenge" - exactly the same set-up as we had on Boss before. In reality it is virtually a private game, there are very few other players..... The added prize money is however exclusive to PL'rs and ONLY THOSE WHO VOTE IN THE DAILY THREAD WILL GET POINTS for the added prize money Scoreboard

Re: SO Boss PL MTT - April sorry for being a bit thick but i noticed that my name wasnt on the placings i did finish 7th or 6th last night is there a reason for this as im not too cleaver at all this stuff i just play the games not that im any good at that either thanks in advance tel16

Re: SO Boss PL MTT - April Sorry tel :sad In isolation I'd make an exception and give you the points .... but my experience before has been that when I do that, it quickly gets out of control and makes the admin a nightmare (exception is if it is a PL exclusive table, but last night was a Public table....). So I now take a "zero tolerance" approach ..... it makes it a lot easier for me, and I don't need to think (that hurts!!) .... it's just automatic ...... If people forget to vote and bring it to my attention within the first 60 mins of the tournament, I add them ..... 61 mins and I don't!!! It's cost people the win before, but I'm afraid I much prefer the approach, for an "easy life"!!! Sorry. As fenner says - you drop a score and only best 3 count, so still every chance of getting into the prizes :ok
