York City - Carlisle I expect Carlisle to get a result away to York city. They've grown in confidence each successive game, credit to Manager Keith Curle who has changed the playing style & mentality of the team. For this game, I feel Carlisle have more options to cope with whatever York offers ie compete either in direct style or to hold the ball. Both teams have been scoring lately but York has some absences offensively.

Carlisle United took a 2-0 first half lead before a resilient 10-man York City levelled in a 2 minute spell in the second half! First half was a testimony of what Keith Curle has changed at Carlisle. Team was used to battling back in second half phase for a result; but now has the players and the confidence to take the lead in first half! Evidently, a lot of work still lies ahead as Carlisle looks forward to a hitherto unlikely match-up with Liverpool in League cup.
