I was a bit confused as to what you were tracking here as it didn't seem to be all the bets put up by the two named tipsters. Having had a look back across the last two weeks, I think I've got my head round it. For my understanding, and the benefit of anyone else following the thread, would you agree that the following is a fair summary?

You're only tracking Mark Langdon's selections that appear on the page with his name in the heading and with an advised stake. Similarly, you're only tracking Dan Child's selections that appear on the page with his name in the heading.

You're not recording any of the other selections they put up, e.g.

  • Langdon also has around 6 "plays of the day" with no staking plan advised
  • Both provide selections in one or two previews of specific televised matches
  • Childs provides selections on all the non-live games on the "Premier League Special" page
  • He also provides tips on 2 or 3 games on the "Non-League" page and the "European Special" page

Ignoring Langdon's "plays of the day" (which have no advised stakes) this means you're not tracking, typically, around 1 or 2 tips from Langdon each week and 10 or more from Childs. I just wanted to be clear that you're only tracking some of the selections these guys put up on a Saturday rather than all of them, in case anyone thought otherwise.

Over the last 2 weeks, both tipsters would have shown a profit on the untracked selections, especially Childs. He advised Leicester at 17/10 this week, along with Deeney 1st goalscorer at 11/2 and Man U to draw with West Ham at 7/2. Last week's highlight was the 68 points profit from the advised buy of Deeney's goal minutes.

Yes you're correct but I've noticed over time that they don't always do the other picks. .sometimes it's Steve Davies or James Milton doing non league or goal minutes.  I had to draw a line somewhere or there would be tons of tips. Langdon also does each European game preview too along with MNF etc and it would be a ridiculous amount of tips neverending,  therefore I chose the two main columns of the tipsters in which they give specific tips and points per selection. Hope that helps

Cheers, it makes sense and I appreciate it would be a mammoth task to track every single selection from these two pundits. At least in the column bearing their name you're getting their strongest selections across all leagues as opposed to picks that are effectively supplied to order. Once I worked out it looked like that was what you were doing I just wanted to confirm it, especially for anyone who might be following the thread without being familiar with the paper.

If possible, feel free to post before the event so that anyone inclined to do so can follow the selections. After the event is better than nothing though, and it will be interesting to see if both can stay in profit across the whole season.
