Flat Racing - Monday 11th May 2015

Recommended Posts

Trainer Mr Mark Johnston has been banging in sprint races with his 2yr old's and he sends out another destination Musselburgh. Jockey Franny Norton also makes the trip to the Scottish track for just the two rides, ''both for Mr Johnston'' BUT again IMO i say Franny rides sprints better than any other type of race and so feel his best chance is in the Sprint - Race 2 Horse and jockey wont have it all their own way this time as another shrewd trainer turns up AKA - Mr Fahey, he also sends out an Unraced 2yr old so the race could be interesting. The gate exit should tell us a little more as no-doubt Franny will have his usual Catch me if you can instructions from Mr Johnston, it's also by no means a 2 horse race what with Mr Dalgleish installing yet another unraced Colt, jockey Phill Makin gets the leg up and he too is quality in sprints. Selection Positives - Trainer, jockey, recent 2yr old unraced performances, Scottish Track. Negatives - Unraced filly, competitive race. 2:30 Musselburgh - Heraldic ?Danger - Fishergate

Re: Flat Racing - Monday 11th May 2015 I have Richard Hughes down as having a very good week so TAKE NOTE of his rides this week Closely! This Ice man turns up today at Windsor but surely the race he's come for is the feature - Race 4 Mr Hannon does have a second string in the same race but Hughes is on the pick, the 4yr old chestnut has only raced the once this year coming home 3rd, that should have put him spot on for this and its difficult seeing them get beat. He wasn't given much of a hard time at Sandown in the (Group 2) and this is also more realistic, Mr Hannon could be going for the stable 1st & 2nd home so a cheeky straight F/C or exacta could be on the betting agenda. Richard Hughes has No daytime rides but what he has got lined up in the evening is of interest, again IMO he is very much worth keeping on the right side of this week. 7:20 Windsor - Shifting Power. ?Danger - 2nd String
