Possible baseball arb

Recommended Posts

I say possible because odds-comparison say have the prices quoted in decimals but going to Sporting Odds I can only get the odds in US lines, which I dont understand. Anyway, if its right here it is. Boston Red Sox vs Texas Rangers 1.05am. According to odds comparison, Sporting odds go 1.8 on BOS and 3.3 on TEX. Like I mentioned I tried to check but dont understand the US betting lines they had displayed. Even if it is the case, theyll probably void but still worth a go maybe.

Re: Possible baseball arb The odds at SportingBet are 2.15 for TEX WFTE so it's not an arb. For American odds if the figure is positive e.g. +115 this means you get 115 back for a 100 bet ie. 2.15 and for odds that are negative e.g. -115 you have to bet 115 to get 100 back or if you want a quick way to convert to decimal odds I just add 100 to the -ve figure and divide by the -ve figure i.e. (115 + 100) / 115 = 1.869 decimal equivalent. Hope that helps. Oh and +100 is evens or 2.0
