1250 ling el che 49 tavener 48 air of York 48 el che and taverner are expected to come on ....and are short prices as such .....not much out today so im going to take a speculative ew bet on air of York .....who seemed to improve lto at southwell ...he actually ran a pretty good race for this grade and might well be improving with experience .....if he can translate that back to this surface now then he could run into a place at least air of York 5pts ew 16/1 skybet

as a matter of interest in this race ..........ive been reprogramming my speed rating spreadsheet ........I know it can rate a race very accurately ......but wanted to try and teach it to grade the performance from a class perspective ....i.e how strong was that performance......for instance if a horse class 7 runs a decent time and another has the same rating but class 5 ......then in theory if this race is class 6 .........the latter should be the highest rated of the two (classier and not being asked to do more than already done ).....im going to ease it in now over the coming weeks as its ready to roll .....anyway ive let it free on this race .......which to be honest is pretty poor anyway but its saying that base ratings are relatively equal between the three above but its graded taveners run 5 pts stronger so has put him top .......so im very interested to see how this race pans out .....good test race always said to myself if you can combine speed and class you've got the holy grail ......who knows ...we may may be about to find out .......interesting none the less
