Nap of the Day - Sunday 4th Jan 2015

Unsure what the problem was when the 7yr old was last seen at Perth back on 25th Sep 2014 - he was PU and if punters can overlook that run he could just reward the loyal today. He's still to get his first win from only the 7 runs and should if taking to Plumpton for the first time post a bold effort, a few of the other runners have been out and won or put up very close efforts so fitness with them cannot be questioned, but asking for another effort after such a short break can at times catch animals out and so a ''Small'' unknown chance is take on this fellow to be match fit and ready for racing. He was very unlucky back in March at Uttoxeter when he was beat by a rag 33/1 outsider, a few quid also came for him that day so was fancied, the opening 9/1 was snapped up and his SP was 6/1 - sure anyone that backed him E/w lost nothing but he was only beat a very S.H If he gets a clean round here at Plumpton and can overcome his 101 day break he'll not be far away, trip & going is of no concern but track fitness and this being his first time here at Plum is taken on trust, but his price looks worth a go. Jockey Rhys Flint makes the trip for this one ride and has been a little out of luck, however i still have him down as a dam fine horseman worth watching. 3:25 Plumpton - Tiquer. 0.5 E/w Bet @ 8/1 Paddy Power, Betfred, Betvic & Corals ''BOG''
