Re: flat racing weds 3rd dec 2.30 Lingfield Medicean Man wasn’t beaten all that far in a listed event over 6f around here on return to action, just as good over 5f and likely to be sharper for run and could be a threat to all back in handicap company. Sleepy Sioux has linked form with Boom The Groom but was someway below her best last time out and a bounce back required today. Boom The Groom bolted in at Wolverhampton over 5f last time out, pulling clear of the 2nd in convincing style, 7lb rise looks fair on face of it given his unexposed improving profile. Yard also going through a really good spell. 2pt win Boom The Groom 9/4 coral 7.20 Kempton Spider Lily enjoyed a purple spell during the summer however last 2 runs suggest the handicapper has perhaps caught up or she has gone off the boil. Time Medicean comes from a yard enjoying a really good spell at present, well beaten into 2nd last time out however that was an improvement and first time tongue tie and blinkers tried today could spark an even stronger performance. Reginauld Claude has become ever unpredictable and threw an awful effort in last time out after a good effort he time before, from a handicapping point of view he does remain on a workable mark. Compton Prince caught the eye running on after the race had finished last time out at Lingfield, he is currently running off his last winning mark Luke Morrise an eye catching booking aswell. Hatta Stream made a promising return to action after well over a year off the track last time out, bounce factor a slight concern however he did look badly in need of the run so should come on for the run. Spowarticus won last time out but got a rather soft lead in a weak looking race, unlikely to get such a soft lead here and a 9lb rise looks harsh given the profile of that race. New Rich might be the safest option, he has showed improved form last 2 times including over CD, up 2lb for latest effort. However he won this race off a 1lb higher mark last year and has since won off a 3lb higher mark so well handicapped at his best. Draw not been over kind but his run style is that of coming from behind so may not be a huge problem. 2pt win New Rich 9/2 bet365
