Recent drop to 1m was never to suit, but was very consistent in most of his AW career starts, including the last five (ignoring lto) when he was 3x placed, won an additional one, as well as finishing a 2¼ lengths beaten 4th. He is high enough in the mark, though the step up in trip is interesting. He's out of a 2m Lingfield AW winning mare, so the new trip might bring out some further improvement. His 3yo weight allowance is a bonus at this time of the year. Trainer has excellent record at Wolverhampton as well as even better 27% strike rate with Martin Harley on board.
