Pokerstars steps SnG

OK made a decision to attempt to qualify for something via the Steps sit n goes on Pokerstars. Starting at the bottom level on either the USD or EUR routes (or playing the FPP specials to get onto starting step as points becomes available). I quite like the idea of these as once you go up a couple of levels it's quite easy to stay in the system even when you lose as there's a good chance of winning at least a try again - and for someone that plays the level and volume I do this is actually a great way to pay loads of rake and collect FPP/advance towards the stellar rewards and have a shot at something great. From reading around the net I get the general impression the players likely to be involved in the last couple of steps will more than likely eat me alive, but if I can get there I don't mind taking my chances at getting lucky vs 8 other people - got to be better odds than hoping to get lucky vs 1000s in a big satellite? So here's how it's gone so far - pretty frustrating, but also encouraging that I can at least get part way up the greasy ladder... Started at the bottom level on the EUR route twice and got to Step D first go before falling foul of the below, 1 below the 'bubble' bearing in mind in step D then coming 5th or better guarantees at least another go... (I know that in optimum SnG strategy this is probably a fold for me, but it's still annoying!)
