NBA Picks, Tuesday

Recommended Posts

This is not the time of the year when NBA results really make sense, so instead of usual analysis, i'll just post some picks (low stakes on all of them of course) with short explanations. Charlotte over Miami @ 6.00 (www.ladbrokes.com) Because Shaq is almost definitely out, and Okafor and Wallace are probable for Charlotte, so this price is just too good with Miami struggling (lost 4 of last 5). Seattle over Dallas @ 4.25 (www.bet365.com) It does seem like both these teams have nothing to play for tonight, but my guess is Dallas might rest key players, while Seattle will want to enter the playoffs on a positive note after that terrible stretch they had (2 wins in a row after 6 consecutive losses). Atlanta over Detroit @ 3.50 (www.ladbrokes.com) No matter how bad the Hawks are, this moneyline is good, considering facts that Sheed and Rip are questionable for Detroit and Atlanta only had 1 double-digit loss in last 7 games (2-5 record). Washington ove New Jersey @ 3.50 (www.bets65.com) It's simple, both teams have a lot to play for, with New Jersey trying to qualify for playoffs (they can reach postseason even with a loss here) and Washington trying to grab homefiled advantage in fist round against Chicago. It's a wide open game, the line is too big for one such matchup.

Re: NBA Picks, Tuesday Dallas v. Seattle under 199.5 Like Sani said, Dallas will be resting starters, but so will Seattle. Allan will get limited minutes because he is 'tired' and Lewis will be resting his foot. Both teams are cemented in their finishing positions and have played a fair bit of basketball of late. With this game and another game tomorrow neither team will want to run it much, so they stay fresh for the play-offs. Atlanta +6 Agreeing again with Sani....Rasheed defintely out. Hamilton likely to few minutes, and Brown says he will be giving ....well, read for yourself.... ..."Milicic, the No. 2 overall pick from the 2003 draft, is expected to play heavy minutes in both games, especially because it looks like a left hamstring might sideline fellow big man Rasheed Wallace." Last meeting in Atlanta ended in OT, with All but 10 points coming from Hamilton, Rasheed, Billups and Prince!!!! :eek With them on the bench tonight, Atlanta have to be a decent shot at a win...oh, and it's a sell out tonight for the Hawks last home game, so plenty of crowd support aswell.
