Favourite Courses and Meetings

Just wondering what are your favourite courses and meetings, particularly in Ireland? I'm fairly new to racing so I've only been to my local course at Leopardstown but I would love to visit some other courses in the future. Really looking forward to Irish Champions Weekend so maybe that would be a nice time to visit the Curragh. Over in the UK I'm guessing Cheltenham is a great place to go but what about Royal Ascot? I wouldn't say I would be a big fan of the atmosphere there but has anyone been there?

Re: Favourite Courses and Meetings It is the other side of the country but I really enjoy Ballinrobe. You can see the entire course from the stands, it is a sharp right hand track. Downpatrick is also worth a visit, very sharp and undulating and a tough uphill climb. My favourite racecourse anywhere is Ludlow! It is pure magic.
