MPLouis
Sunday June 22nd 2014 17.00 Spain Segunda Promotion Playoff Final Second Leg (score 0-0 from first leg) Las Palmas v Cordoba I've noticed when a two-legged tie ends 0-0 from the first leg, the away side has an advantage in the second leg. This is because they know that if the second leg ends in a score-draw (e.g. 1-1 or 2-2), they go through, because of the 'away goals rule'. A goal for them is worth more than for the home side, so the home side is at a disadvantage. I think it's worth backing the away team in the second leg after a 0-0 first leg if the odds are over 4.0. This tie is 0-0 after the first leg, and Cordoba are priced at over 4.0. Worth backing I think, particularly at the lower-risk DNB bet with odds of over 3.0 - Cordoba DNB 3.1 Marathon Stake: 5 points
mikki24
Re: Spain Segunda - Las Palmas v Cordoba > Sunday June 22nd 2014 hmm interesting bet, but I like more hosts here. they are very strong on own stadium and this is their year with great chance to progress. cordoba has bit of lucky in last stages and their team is weaker. this can be crazy game with many goals. but mainly I expect home win. so good luck with your choice. MPLouis
Re: Spain Segunda - Las Palmas v Cordoba > Sunday June 22nd 2014 I agree home advantage is important, and I don't think I would back the away team in a league game at these odds, but the pressure of a playoff final AND the fact that the first leg ended 0-0 (so Las Palmas have no away goals), does give Cordoba a good chance here I think - and the odds are worth taking. As for goals, I don't know much about either team, but I do know that in general Spanish teams are pretty good in defence and games can be low-scoring. I wouldn't be surprised to see a defensive start and several late goals as it opens up.
