Speedway Tonight

Recommended Posts

Eastbourne - 5.5 V Oxford + 5.5 (1) BandW 1.85 Eastbourne have got a tricky little track that does not suit all riders, the home side is on decent form right now, and reserve David Watt scored heavily against Peterborough last week, and hopefully he will do the same tonight. Oxford: This is the sort of meeting that they will really miss Billy Hamill, Hamill is out injured, and will not be back for some time yet. New signing Jesper Jensen takes his place, and this is his debut for his new team. Jensen rode for Ipswich last year, and his early season form was sensational, but, as the season wore on, he showed his true level, and ended the season with an average of just over 6. It remains to be seen what he will do tonight. Tomicek is drafted in to replace their injured reserve, he has done ok in the Premier league, but this is a different thing altogether. Greg Hancock and Neils Iversen are Oxford's top men, and both should do well, especially Hancock, who really loves this track, but, the back up does not seem to be good enough to seriously trouble the home side, and I would expect Eastbourne to cover this handicap, other bookies go Eastbourne -8.
