Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham > Saturday April 19th Spurs seems to be running out of steam lately. They are 6 points behind Everton and most likely will not finish in the top 5. However, it has to be said that they made a great come back against WBA last weekend when they were 3-0 down and managed to rescue a point. In 2014, they have 5 wins and just 2 defeats (City and Arsenal) at home but will they be motivated enough in this game? Fulham on the other hand are trying to achieve something that seemed impossible to happen just a few weeks ago. Their 2-1 away win at Villa that was followed by the 1-0 home win to Norwich has boosted the morale of the players and the fans and with 4 matches to go (two of which are at home against Hull and Palace) and 2 points far from safety, they do have a good chance to stay in the top league. I am not sure that Fulham have the quality to get all three points against Spurs, but I believe that there is good value backing them with a +1 goal handicap at odds around 2.10 (Marathonbet, Pinnacle and Sbobet offering best odds)

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham > Saturday April 19th Tottenham-Fulham Bet: Fulham Goals overs 0.75 @ 1.78 (Pinnacle) (3/10) Very different situation for both teams. Tottenham is currently 6 points behind the international business with 4 games left to play. They are still having small chances to reach their goal and get into the international places but it will be very hard for them. And the main reason for this is their inconsistent defense. They are often giving their opponents way too much space and have a lot of individual mistakes in their game which can be deadly against most offensives. This could be seen quite good lately against West Brom in which it got quite clear that their team isn't fully concentrated anymore from the first minute in the games and especially their defense has problems to still be fully concentrated. These mistakes are not something new, against Liverpool and Southampton you could see exactly the same just with Tottenham improving from time to time in the game. On the other side is Fulham who was already pretty safe in 2nd league when you asked around in GB, but with Magath as a new coach it took some time but the team now is playing another football and has the right attitude to fight to stay in league. The wins against Aston Villa (2-1) and Norwich (1-0) were very big steps for them. They are currently 2 points behind Norwich to get out of the relegation zone but also only 4 points behind the last Sunderland. They have to give 100% in every game and fight to the end in every game and that exactly what they are doing lately. Just their defense has been and still is one of their main problems conceding a lot of dumb goals. Face is that Fulham has scored in 7 out of 8 matches since Magath became their coach and now against Tottenham I see good chances for them to score again and use Tottenham's mistakes. Even 2 goals are possible for me. Tottenham will have to play without Capoue, Lamela, Sandro, Vertronghen and Walker here. While Dawson and Soldado are likely to return to squad. The missings of Walker and Vertronghen are one of the aspects which cause Tottenham's weakness in defense. Fulham on the other side will miss Briggs, Duff, Mitroglou and Holtby who is not allowed to face his original club.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham > Saturday April 19th 2pts Fulham to beat Tottenham 11/2 Betfred Tottenham continue to stutter in the Premier League and even are conceding some of the most ridiculous goals I’ve ever seen so Fulham will always have a chance in this match. Whether they are good enough to take that chance remains to be seen but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they are. They are fighting for their lives so won’t make the mistakes that Sunderland and West Brom made and so the visitors could just be worth a go here.
