erhaab1965
I don't know much about computers other than the basics. I'd like to purchase a second hand desktop computer and a second hand laptop with a combined budget of £400 or just a little more, for just online poker and surfing the net , nothing else. I don't understand the specifications /memory /ram etc. What should I be looking for ? Help please.
Haichan
Re: Poker computer help. you should be able to pick up a cheap desktop with something like an Athlon 3600+ processor. lap tops tend to be more expensive secondhand. Desktop needs 4gb of memory and pref a seperate graphics card. Lot of the cheaper second hand desktops tend to have built in graphics which will be slower. However you can pick up graphics cards like a Radeon HD 5000 card for less than £50 second hand. pretty simple to put it into the desktop. Rather than a laptop you can now pick up tablets for £100. luckboxnemo
Re: Poker computer help. get maybe 4gb of memory or more the better like 6gb memory as running multiple tables can slow your laptop down
