Speedway On Sky Tonight

Wolverhampton -4 V Belle Vue +4 (1) 1.83 Skybet. Wolves were supposed to be one of the weaker teams, but, that has not been the case so far, they hammered a full strength Oxford team, then went away to the powerful Belle Vue team, and after a great fight, finally went down by 11 points. David Howe is one of the reasons for their good showing, they have kept faith with him when he was struggling, and now at last he is starting to repay them. Mikael Max has been scoring well as are Lindgren and Johnston, veteran American Ronnie Correy made a surprise return to speedway last year, with Belle Vue, now he is riding for Wolves and he does seem to like these small tracks, and has been scoring some useful points. Magnuss Karlsson at reserve can be a trump card, and his fellow reserve Krzysztof Pecyna! is, apparently, making some very fast start. They are a solid team at home. Belle Vue are led by world champion Jason Crump, and Simon Stead along with Kenneth Bjerre are the main threats. The reserves look very weak, especially away from home. Jason Lyon's and Joe Screen do not always go well here. Simon Stead used to ride here, and he could prove to be a handful. This should be a very good meeting for TV, and I am going for Wolves to win by more than 4 points, they have a big edge with the reserves, and, if any off the top 5 are not scoring, then they are able to bring in Magnuss Karlsson. Last season Wolves were my jinx team, hopefully the jinx will be laid tonight!

Re: Speedway On Sky Tonight Result: Wolves 40 Belle Vue 50 :( An amazing result! The Wolves jinx strikes again! Mikael Max, usually a prolific scorer, failed to win a single race. Pecyna, the Wolves reserve, made some good starts, but, instead of getting his head down and go, he had the annoying habit of looking behind at every turn, and, in his first race he went from first to last, a "feat" he equalled in a later race! crazy! And another bad day! :(
