Is there a system or strategy that I can use which could lock in some sort of profit regardless what happens or would I need to wait for a few more games to come home first? The game I am most worried about letting me down is Stoke vs Liverpool - I think it might be a draw. If I waited for the two early games to finish and if they did both come through as hoped, would there then be anything that could be done with the remaining 4 fixtures to secure profit? You cannot secure any returns when the full bet is not concluded. Bookies are ofcourse no charities. To me a 20 fold acca is like buying a scratch card, maybe one in 5000 20 folds will win something, just like one in 5000 scratch cards do. I would not waste my money on it. At the moment i wouldnt say you were in a position to secure any profits but certainly if you get to the Inter game on monday night and the bet is still going then you could lay Inter on the exchanges or back Chievo Double chance, with some fancy maths. Yeh if its still up until the last game he can use some of his profits and invest it in a lay so there is a certain profit. It's not a big deal losing my £1.22 stake, I was just curious as to whether there was a way of securing some profit regardless what happens as one selection or more usually doesn't come through. I'd rather take a smaller amount of profit than nothing even if it is with a low stake. It is rare for me to get 14/20 with 6 still to go. HT: Newcastle United 0 - 1 Manchester City HT: Roma 3 - 0 Genoa Roma are probably home and dry and hopefully Man City will come through it's just Liverpool I am worried about. I just don't see the point in adding the 6 extra matches to an accumulator if you'd rather just take the money at 14. Then it would have been better to just play the 14 to begin with. Because to be honest I do these big 20 folds more in hope than expectation, I know they probably won't be successful but I would rather spend a quid on this than the lottery for example. At the time I didn't give it much thought just needed 20 teams to back and thought Liverpool might be worth a shot. Having time to think about it though I just don't fancy them to win now. Hopefully I'm wrong. 16/20 after City and Roma wins now just 4 to go. To my surprise Liverpool win and just three games left, two of them today. I'm thinking I might just let the two games run tonight and if they both come home I'll have to lay Inter tomorrow to secure a return.
