Decision By One has the hood on for the first time but he has a lot to prove at present having pretty much failed to beat a rival on last few starts and looks in rapid decline at present. Desert Strike has 4 wins around here and is 2 from 12 over CD, he has dropped 4lb below last winning mark but he hasn’t looked like taking advantage recently. Drawnfromthepast went down by a short head last time out, only up a 1lb for that effort, form looks shaky with 2 behind disappointing since but the winner might be a bit of a good thing in new hands so has to be respected. He isn’t badly handicapped if on a going day but most wins have recently come in claimers. Pull The Pin should appreciate this return to 5f but must bounce back from an awful effort over 6f last time out and may just be high enough in the weights at present. Only Ten Percent bounced back to form on the fibresand last time out but never as good on polytrack and easily opposed back here. Secret Millionaire landed a gamble on penultimate start just under a year ago over CD, not seen since trying to follow up quickly off todays mark, handicapper taking no chances as he still remains well handicapped on best but record fresh is poor and is probably best watched at a short enough price. Mossgo steps up in class today and is likely to find this tougher. Different can be excused her run last time out on the fibresand, but showed enough on polytrack debut over 5f at Wolves to suggest she handles it and is lightly raced and looks the likely one to improve again. 2pt win Different 13/2 pp 2.00 Lingfield Should be run at a sound clip with several of these likely to want to be prominent. Karam Albaari scored with very little in hand last time out a 1lb rise is not excessive but doesn’t strike as an obvious follow up sort. Rakaan failed to follow up last time out off revised mark over shorter, will appreciate this step back up in trip but was fresh for that win and that may be his key. Chapter and Verse needs things to fall right but is still on a good mark if on a going day and the race falls apart. Always been better at Kempton. Cayuga clearly acts on this surface but was very disappointing on turf when last seen and been off since so possibly something not right there and will need to bounce back with a career best effort. Modernism likes to get his own way up front and unlikely to get that again today, he was some way below his best in a much better race but will appreciate this drop in grade again, but career best is needed. Miguel Grau is not straightforward and will find life a lot tougher 7lb higher having won over this trip at Kempton, one try around here was below best and Im keen to take him on give his quirky habits. Syncopate is another needing a career best effort. Franco Is My Name has been subject to support already and its not hard to see why, there was some promise last time out his 2^nd run back from a lengthy absence and he may have needed them.
