Plumpton 2:55 Bit Of A Clown looked decent when he won a hunters chase at Fontwell back in May and although he has not progressed from that since he is a very lightly raced horse for a 7 year old, this being his 8th career run. One positive to note is Tom Cannon is up on the horse for the first time tomorrow, replacing the amateur jockey Mr J Sole who has been on board for his last three runs so that is a plus. He runs off a mark of 95 tomorrow and his last two runs have been off marks of 103 & 100 so he is off a lenient weight. At the 12/1 mark I think he is overpriced myself.
