Re: Hull City v Stoke City > Saturday December 14th 4pts Under 2.25 goals 1.73 Ladbrokes Neither of these sides have shown the consistent form that makes me rush to back them in this match but one area both have struggled is for goals. Both sides have kept goals out well enough but scoring them at the other end has been a real difficulty so far this season so I think there is value in under 2.25 goals even at 8/11. It is hard to see two defensively minded sides suddenly breaking out so I’ll go with a low scorer here. Re: Hull City v Stoke City > Saturday December 14th Hull city (0) to win Stoke City @ 1.6 Betfair Hull coach Steve Bruce has set the task for his team to gain at least 20 points before Christmas Guests are coming with a weakened squad, especially in the defensive line. First of all , the main goalkeeper of Stoke Asmir Begovic was unexpectedly injured on training. There is also an important miss in the central zone of defence in the face of Robert Huth. Thomas Sorensen is expected will replace Begovic. This will undoubtedly lead to imbalance in the defensive line of away team. Furthermore, Jonathan Walters will not take part in this match. He is a guy who works hard for the team and Stoke will certainly be lacking the service of this player. Even more his actions depend on the creativity of Stoke attacking potential. Matthew Etherington will not play either. At home games Hull is able to control the ball well and develop positional attacks. High pressure could break the game of Hull, but unfortunately guests don’t have enough resources for that. It is also worth to note huge problems of Stoke in defense. Therefore it seems that the home team have all the opportunities to achieve the positive result for them. There’s also one missing in the home is a fast and skilful striker Sone Aluko. His absence could affect the team’s game, but besides him Hull have enough resources at their disposal. For example, the best sniper Robbie Brady. Stats are also for the home team. In their last 20 home games Hull won 11 times, drawn 5 times and lost just 4 times. On the other hand Hull is not playing well on their away fixtures, but the same can be said again their opponent tonight “Stoke City”. They have failed to win 32 of their last 35 away matches in the EPL, which is a horrible record to be honest. Everything suggests to the fact Hull must triumph ( in the worst case – not to lose this game), so the best bet will be home team (0). Good luck to everyone.Hull coach Steve Bruce has set the task for his team to gain at least 20 points before Christmas Guests are coming with a weakened squad, especially in the defensive line.
