Sandown 1:45 - Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle (Winter) (Grade 2) The gelding Killala Quay is 2/2 (100%) over this trip of 2m 4f and he has won by 10 lengths & 6 lengths both times he ran over this distance. Cheltenham is a funny track and I tend not to try judge a horse if he has a poor run there, but he did run OK when 7th of 20 behind Thomas Crapper over further there last time out. Richard Johnson is aboard tomorrow which is good and in a smaller field on a more forgiving track I feel the 10/1 looks very big indeed. In any event, Beat That who was highly thought of last year won very easily lto at Ascot in a fair race. Geraghty was pretty motionless on him and when he asked him to quicken he did not disappoint.
