Newmarket 4:45 - Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Fillies' Handicap (2) Very nice Class 2 handicap for the fillies tomorrow and the Roger Varian trained Deglet Noor should have enough ability to land the race. This filly is out of New Approach so on a breeding line could not be bred much better. She was a shock winner at Kempton on debut, getting up to win at 33/1. She ran a gallant race last time out when 3rd to Annawi, but the 2nd placed horse Cosseted that day runs here again tomorrow. However, Cosseted was giving the Roger Varian horse 10 pounds in weight that day and tomorrow she is only giving 4 pounds so there is a 6 pound pull in the weights. This should be more than enough for my selection to reverse the form with that horse. Varian is brilliant at improving his horses and I think she will go very well tomorrow under Hanagan. He was very green the last day here being riden before the straight and becoming outpaced but he made up 10 lengths in the last furlong and would have won in another couple of strides.
