After 2 promising runs in Irish bumpers (4th both times and staying on) he won fto for Curtis at Worcester on good ground before being outpaced when trying to defy a penalty in another bumper there. I am not so sure about the fast ground here but I do know that he will appreciate the step up to 2 1/2m which he has been crying out for. Another plus is that the opposition looks weak with Mortlestown trained by Keightley who does very well at this time of year very much respected.
