Re: Boxing - Sept 21 Saturday previews: 5pts B-J.Saunders to win on points Evs Stan James This fight is the stylist versus the heavier hitter and all too often when that’s the case the stylist wins and I think he will here too but this should be a corking contest. I really like Billy Joe Saunders. He could do with a bit more power in his punches but ability wise he has plenty and I think he’ll have too much for Ryder here. I think Ryder will see the final bell though so the even money on Saunders winning on points looks a great bet. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/saunders-vs-ryder-betting-billy-joe-saunders-can-keep-his-titles-with-points-win-at-the-copper-box 3pts C.Woodhouse to beat D.Mathews 11/5 Boylesports I like Curtis Woodhouse in this fight. Derry Mathews is great to watch but you could never rely on him. He was losing for all the world to Tommy Coyle before somehow finding a shot from nowhere but I’m not sure he can do that here. Woodhouse is improving fight by fight and let’s not forget this is a guy who caused Frankie Gavin plenty of problems. He could just sneak this one I believe. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/mathews-vs-woodhouse-betting-curtis-woodhouse-could-sneak-a-win-in-liverpool 3pts D.Chisora to win on points 2/1 Stan James Dereck Chisora is anything but the finished article but he’s probably a shade better than European level and I think he’ll win this fight. You rarely get an appealing fight from the Londoner though so the 2/1 quotes on him winning on points could be the way to go. Gerber has never been stopped although he hasn’t been in with many classy operators. Chisora is unlikely to outclass the German but he can outpoint him in a potentially scrappy fight. Re: Boxing - Sept 21 2 Pts Mohammed Akrong by KO, TKO, DQ 11/1 bet365: I'll be honest. I've never seen Akrong fight, but on paper, he has an excellent win AND KO percentage. He's definitely worth putting some money on in my opinion, against a Rocky Fielding who despite being heavy favourite with the bookies, has a few question marks against him for me. He struggled to make weight for the fight, has stamina that is more than justifiable to speculate on and has never been past the sixth round. Akrong has been the distance with a quality fighter in Marco Antonio Rubio, so you can only assume that he gave him a tough fight. I see value in Akrong by KO, TKO, DQ at the very juicy 11/1 with bet365. 2 Pts Curtis Woodhouse to win by TKO, KO, DQ 3/1 BetVictor: This one isn't as much of "get the fingers out" selection. Woodhouse went the distance with one of the top fighters in the division in Frankie Gavin, and goes up against a man in Derry Matthews who certainly rode his luck last time out, and a man who has been stopped a staggering seven times in his career. Woodhouse has been stopped just the one time, and that was by a massive puncher in Dale Miles. Good luck to all who have a play tonight.
