Great day at Leopardstown yesterday - apart from the weather, which was awful. But the racing was great, the crowd was good despite the rain, and we saw some nice prospects I feel. My Titania looked really good winning the opening maiden, following up on her impressive debut. Australia could become a good horse as well, but it is definitely too early to give up on Free Eagle, who was just not right yesterday. His attitude is fantastic though. You won't see often such a laid-back animal on second ever start. I was really happy for La Collina and Chris Hayes. LC is such a beautiful filly, while Hayes deserved to win his first G1. The Champion Stakes had to overcome the absence of DOW due to the changing going, no surprise. But that The Fugue was a runner and even won in some style was a surprise, to me at least.
