4.55 Killarney Chicago Girl 6/4 Paddy Power BOG I believe Paddy Power are giving a Christmas present here as I think Chicago Girl should be around the 1/2 mark. On her last run at Tipperary earlier this month Chicago Girl was second to Ballybacka Queen beaten only 0.5l. The winner is highly rated by her connections and had some useful form herself going into that race. Adelana was well behind in 3rd that day. I cant give the others any chance. In fact I think the favourite is a certainty. So my advice is to march into to Powers, empty your pockets and help yourselves. Re: Flat Racing Thursday 29th August 6.40 Lingfield Storywriter is becoming extremely frustrating and clearly hard to win with runner up on 7 of his 8 starts on the AW. Keeps creeping up the weights without winning and now 5lb above last handicap run and will need to find more to win this. Squad will need a career best off this mark and also record fresh poor. Alfraamsey has done well since joining this yard and came back from just short of a year off last time out when running a respectable race but is 8lb above last winning mark and handicapper may just have hold of him for now, but could come on for the run. Hunting Tower has been running well over hurdles the last twice and only 2lb above last winning mark on the flat. Star Alliance ran well to win on penultimate start at Kempton over this trip but through a completely awful race last time out in a seller, no obvious excuses other than ground possibly too soft (has ran ok on soft ground previously) and he clearly has his quirks and remains one to tread carefully with. Almost Gemini may prove hard to beat, he clearly isn’t the easiest to train but then this yard does well with these delicate sorts. All his wins have come with decent gaps in between so has no problems fresh. Only up 3lb for latest win and clearly still has more to come. 2pt win Almost Gemini 5/2 VC 9.20 Kempton Decent handicap to finish the day on and fairly competitive. Kinglami is progressing nicely with age and won again last time out on turf up another 6lb and has to carry top weight here, but does handle the polytrack surface so has a sound chance. Noble Citizen ran well at Yarmouth 4 days ago and was a bit of a return to form staying on well, his overall profile has become very patchy and isn’t guaranteed to back that up but does remain well handicapped on best form now 7lb below last winning mark and does act on polytrack. Intomist racked up a 3 timer earlier in the year but has found one too good last twice and last time out it was Levi Draper gets a small turn around in the weights but progress looks limited at this stage and Levi Draper looks likely to come out on top again. Ocean Legend ran well when last tried on this surface and all of his 9 wins have come on polytrack with 7 of them around here. Return to 7f positive but this sort of mark has always proved a bit tricky although has won off a higher marks may find one or two slightly better handicapped today. Pivotal Movement got a soft lead last time out at Lingfield in a not very strong race and won well, this looks a lot tougher off a 4lb higher mark. Levi Draper may well be the one to be with again. James Fanshawes horses continue in good form. He was only beaten a neck at Newmarket off his new mark. Up a 1lb for that and returned to the AW has to go close from a reasonable draw in a race likely to be run to suit. 2pt win Levi Draper 7/2 VC
