METALTONE STRATEGY..HELP PLEASE

Recommended Posts

hi when laying the draw and the outsider scores first the strategy says back the draw for 50% of your liability and lay the outsider for 75% of your liability, now when it says the outsider is that the team that now lead 1-0 and at the start of the match the outsider or the team that are now 1-0 down and started as favs...also does it have to be put on straight away or can you leave the score to run at 1-0 for a bit..ive also seen some threads saying 50% and 75% of your back stake? so im really confused..does anyone know for sure what the strategy is...thanks for any help.

Re: METALTONE STRATEGY..HELP PLEASE John, If the odds are, for example, Home - 1.75 Draw - 4.1 Away - 6.5 at the start of a match, they you LTD looking for the HOME (Fav) team to score first. If the AWAY team score first, then you BACK the DRAW with 50% of your original stake, and LAY the team currently ahead (AWAY TEAM) for 75% of your original stake. This will automatically reduce your Liability on the draw. Also, if the home side should then score fairly soon afterwards, it will put you in a very strong position. You are best to do it fairly soon after the DOG (AWAY) has scored, as an equaliser before you use Metaltone puts you back at square one. Not too bad, being back where you started, but you do lose any advantage that Metaltone may have given you. Also Metaltone doesn't really work if your initial LTD odds are too high. I find that under 4.0, and as near to 3.0 as you can get it, work best. Any more questions, fire away, and let me know how you get on with it. :ok
