There is another link on the same page that gives a little more info. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504803_162-20028651-10391709.html I think the most important point about this story is the fact that is does not do it himself. He has betting partners with whom he collaborates and carefully selected data providers. If I where a gambling man I would be willing to bet the day he became profitable was the day he started to form his team. I think the same could be said of all successful people like Bill Gates for example. I would think the day he stopped sitting a a computer writing code and formed a team to do it under his supervision was the day things started to take off.
