DeanK Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 [h=1]Flemington Betting: Winter Chiller and Spending to continue their liking of the straight in the Bruce Gadsden Handicap[/h] FLEMINGTON RACE 3 @ 1:10pm AEST: The Bruce Gadsden Handicap is a 1200m race for 3 year olds where the 5.50 favourite with Bet365 is Beau Jez. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Not massive speed but there should be enough. SCAPOLO, NORTHERN ATLANTIC ICE and PILLER OF CREATION battle for the lead. COME BY OFTEN and BEAU JEZ settle handy while the rest of the runners settle midfield or beyond in a race where all horses will get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Probably the race of the day at Flemington with many of these 3 year olds potential stakes class horses. WINTER CHILLER is still very underrated, she is yet to run a bad race in all 6 of her starts and looks well over the odds at the double figures. She resumed over this track and trip in the Creswick Stakes and showed a dazzling turn of foot over the concluding stages after settling midfield to just fail catching the leader in She Can Skate. That was her second run down the Flemington straight, her first was a fast finishing 4th behind Summer Gem, so she’s demonstrated she has a liking for the Flemington straight. She finished along-side another who filly who loves straight in the Creswick Stakes in Spending. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-winter-chiller-and-spending-to-continue-their-liking-of-the-straight-in-the-bruce-gadsden-handicap--20130624 Quote
