El Salvador has been well placed to win 3 races but had his limitations well and truly exposed lto when stepped up to listed class. Pale Mimosa was very progressive last year winning a Galway maiden in a canter before winning the listed Galtres Stakes at York. It's final run came in a group 2 at the arc meeting in france when finishing 5th. Has progressed again and is better class that the mare who slaughtered El Salvador lto. Is fit enough to win. Pale Mimosa maximum confidence 10 points win boylesports 7.50 Leopardstown Resolute Response 6/1 Paddy Power An intriguing race. Duke of Limonade has progressed and finished a one paced 3rd to his stable companion Leading Light lto in a group 3 in the Curragh. Steps up a furlong tomorrow. Strange? Dibiyani had the best 2yo form but has looked moderate this year beaten 7 Lengths lto at Navan with Fighter Squadron further behind. Resolute Response progressed from a Tipperary 3rd in a maiden to winning a 10 furlong maiden at Naas going away from an O'Brien horse who disappointed next time out. He ran green that day and will improve both for the trip and ground and if connections are considering Ascot, you would imagine he would have to win tomorrow. Re: Flat Racing Friday 7th June Pontefract 7.20pm Riptide looks a big price at 20-1 and keeps his best efforts for this track but he looks more of a place opportunity than a win one. I might look at this one for exactas, placepot and maybe a place only bet. The one I like from a win perspective is Orsippus, won here really easily before off 2lb lower and Fallon back on board again. Horse is fit from running over the jumps (won a class 2 handicap hurdle in April) and 7-1 is not a bad price in a race like this so I took it each way already. Won on soft here but has won several times on good ground and likely to find it fairly firm at Ponty. 1pt EW - Orsippus 7-1 Bet365 (BOG)
