Round Two Odds: Blues v Reds 1.13 5.50 –14.5pts (Result Blues 18-15) Brumbies v Bulls 1.09 6.50 -20.5 (Result Brumbies 21-19) Highlanders v Stormers 2.10 1.70 +3.5 Crusaders v Chiefs 1.16 4.75 -14.5 Sharks v Waratahs 2.10 1.70 +3.5 Cats v Hurricanes 2.10 1.70 +3.5 Bit pushed for time this week so quick thoughts as follows. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comSurprise from round one were the Reds (at home) and Bulls under-performing but then backing up with impressive performances against the Blues and Brumbies (both away)in the Friday games. Highlanders have the home advantage v the Stormers but I feel the visiting team will be targeting this game as a must win on their tour and the 1.70 on the HTH is tempting enough for me. The Chiefs were beaten by the Waratahs in round one but neither team were particularly impressive. I believe the home team can overcome the margin at 14.5pts which is a margin higher than I usually take on but the Crusaders are a class side at home and will be wanting not to let this game slip. Expect the Chiefs to stay with them for 40 to 60 minutes but the Crusaders to cruise home at the end.

Neither the Sharks or Waratahs (barring Matt Rogers) looked very good last round. Feel the Sharks will edge this at home so the margin holds some appeal but will leave it alone at this stage.

Both the Cats and the Hurricanes exceeded my expectations in the first round so will be watching closely to get a line on where these teams are actually at. If pushed would probably go with the Cats and the margin but will be leaving alone this week. Round two bets: Stormers HTH @ 1.70 2pts Crusaders –14.5pts @ 1.87 2pts Small stakes still this week until another round of games are on the board. Good luck to all. Cheers CK
