FLEMINGTON RACE 7 @ 3.32pm AEST: The Straight Six (LISTED) is a 1200m Handicap for 3 year olds and upwards where the 4.6 favourite with

Bet365 is THAT’S THE ONE. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Looks good speed here. From the inside TITLE, GYBE, BELLISIMO, SHELLSCRAPE and PETMAN are all potential leaders. UTAH SAINTS AND TESTASCANA go forward also the rest of the runners settle midfield or beyond in a race where all will get their chance barring bad luck or track bias. RACE ANALYSIS: Good race for the middle of the off season in Melbourne. THAT’S THE ONE is close to a win after two very good runs back from a spell. He resumed over the unsuitable distance of 1000m, he uncharacteristically went forward in the run and kicked away with 300m to go and looked a real winning chance before being reeled in by General Truce who went on to win his following start in Adelaide. He was then sent around favourite in the Listed Wangoom where he was back and wide in the run before closing well over the final furlong to finish 2nd again. Today he gets to his favourite track, is drawn for a nice midfield run, has Glen Boss on board and looks like getting a good tempo to allow him to use his powerful finishing burst. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-that-s-the-one-to-break-through-for-long-awaited-victory-in-the-straight-six--20130520

t589_504_Race7-Dayita-ShinnBlake-12262011-9246.jpg FLEMINGTON RACE 5 @ 2.22pm AEST: The 2013 TROA/Luxbet Winter Championship Series Heat 2 is a 1400m handicap race for 3 year olds and upwards where the favourite 6.0 withBet365 is LOOT ‘N” RUN. HOW THE RACE WILL BE RUN: Good speed here from the 3 outside barriers with CONSTANT FORCE, LE REMAS and LETHAL ARROW. HAWKS BAY and LOOT ‘N’ RUN also push towards the lead in what will be a willing first furlong of the race. HOLLOWLEA and UPBEAT can settle just off this pace while the remainder of the field settle midfield or beyond in a race where settling off the pace looks advantageous. RACE ANALYSIS: The fast tempo on paper has me looking for something coming off the speed. DAYITA resumed in the Wangoom with a terrific performance settling well back in the field and motoring late on her preferred wet surface. She steps up to 1400m here which will suit, gets to her favourite track in Flemington and will be running on a track with some give in it which she loves. She always goes well for jockey Jake Duffy and looks likely to get a nice midfield run from barrier 6. http://www.betzone.com.au/flemington-betting-dayita-to-defeat-the-boys-on-her-favourite-track-in-the-troa-luxbet-winter-championship-series-heat-2-2013051
