Re: Players Championship 9-12 May Tournament preview: 1pt ew B.Snedeker to win Players Championship 40/1 Stan James (1/4 1-6) Very few players in the world have played as well as Brandt Snedeker this season. He found the going just a little too tough over the last nine holes at Augusta last month but he’s a big time player now and this event could be right up his street to really boost him for major tournaments in the same way it did for Matt Kuchar last year. Snedeker’s record here is poor and that is a surprise and a concern at the same time but he’s probably in better form now than he’s ever been when tackling this golf course. He’s straight as a dye, hits a lot of greens and has a wonderful putting stroke and it is hard to see him not featuring strongly this week. 1pt ew T.Clark to win Players Championship 70/1 Bet365 (1/4 1-6) Tim Clark is a former champion around here and he has shown some very good form this season and I expect him to go well here. The major tournaments in America are played on courses too long for him but this one isn’t, this is actually a course which sets up very well for the South African. He doesn’t miss many fairways and if his putter gets hot this weekend he will challenge strongly for this title again at a very tasty price.
