BBOTD Sunday 7th

3.20 Curragh Foxtrot Romeo 1pt win @ 4/1 PaddyPower This looks a cracking little race. Lily's Angel would have been of greater interest had the stable been in better form but I have sided with the Thomas Carmody runner in this. This will be the horses first run for the stable but he has shown some pretty decent form for Bryan Smart last year. On his reappearance last year he finished a brilliant 2nd to Power at this track over 8f and followed that up with a 6th to Most Improved at Royal Ascot. The drying ground is a plus, the stable are in great form and they have the main man on board in Johnny Murtagh. Nephrite could be anything but I feel this one will need the run, which leaves Yellow Rosebud as the main danger. She has the benefit of having a run but again the stable are not in form so is passed over for the returning Foxtrot Romeo.

Re: BBOTD Sunday 7th 16.20 Curragh - Parish Hall - Win @ 7\4 PP BOG Parish Hall has not been on the racecourse since winning the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket in 2011. That is the best form of any of the runners in this race. Holds some big Group 1 entry's for this year and if expected to progress to the top level should easily win this Listed race despite the long racecourse absence. 7\4 for Group 1 winner last time out looks a great price where none of the opposition have shown any level of form in group races.
