Re: Trends for Aintree 2.00 Matalan Noices Hurdle 10 of the last 16 winners ran in the Triumph hurdle at Cheltenham so again best to keep the Cheltenham horses on side. Katchit & Zarkandar matched Detroit City to became only horses since 1979 to do the double. Of the other 6 winners of this race, they had a mixed time in the triumph finishing 2nd-15th-6th-9th-5th-3rd. Only 5 of the last 16 winners won on their last start, 4 from Cheltenham & one from kempton. In total, 10 of the last 16 were 1st or 2nd on their last start. 12 of the last 16 winners had ran 4 or more times in that season with some prolific winners with 11 of the 16 having won more than 50% of their outings. So to reduce the field down a bit, lets look at those from the triumph and other races from Cheltenham, Rolling star (6th) and Vasco Du Ronceray (5th) both ran in the triumph. Flaxen Flare won the Fred Winter where Zamdy man was unplaced. 2 punts for me again here in L'Unique who looks interesting having missed Cheltenham and Flaxen flare leaving out the 2 triumph runners, Final Selections Flaxen Flare 10pts win 5/1 Betvictor L'Unique 10pts win 10/1 Betfred
